Role Overview
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Consultant with a passion for both SEO and PPC. This is a hands-on, entry-to-mid level role that provides the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of B2B and B2C accounts across industries including Finance, Home & Garden, Travel, and Tech.
You’ll contribute to campaign strategy and execution across organic and paid channels, while being led and mentored by senior SEO and PPC consultants. From keyword research and content audits to managing Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok campaigns, you’ll build the breadth and depth to become a future specialist or strategic lead.
This role will sit within Digital Marketing Division, working alongside senior SEO and PPC specialists, supporting our Digital Marketing Leads and Digital Marketing Account Managers with ongoing positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Consultant Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research, query mapping, and competitor analysis to uncover optimisation opportunities.
- Support in delivering content audits, on-page optimisation, and meta data enhancements.
- Assist in site migrations and Go-Live SEO processes, ensuring minimal impact on visibility.
- Collaborate with technical and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across sites.
- Help develop content briefs and contribute to SEO strategy documents.
- Monitor organic performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
PPC Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and managing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Bing, and other platforms.
- Contribute to budget management, keyword planning, ad copy creation, and audience targeting.
- Support ongoing optimisation including bid adjustments, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
- Help conduct PPC audits and identify opportunities to improve return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Stay up-to-date with evolving ad formats, platform updates, and automation features.
Data & Reporting Responsibilities
- Prepare campaign performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Experience Optimisation team and account managers.
- Share ideas and learnings with team members, helping to build knowledge across channels.
- Attend client meetings when appropriate, supporting senior consultants in presenting insights.

Client-Facing SEO/PPC & Business Growth
- Present findings, insights, and SEO / PPC recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Assist with new business acquisition through in-depth PPC audits and strategic recommendations.
- Prepare detailed PPC performance reports with actionable insights to guide client decision-making.
- Being the Thought-Leader and an innovator in PPC, considering it as a component in an evolving ‘discoverability’ sector, where AI, sustainability and other trends are starting to take hold.
Skills and Experience
Essential Skills
- 1–2 years' experience in SEO and/or PPC (agency or in-house).
- A strong interest in digital marketing with foundational knowledge in both channels.
- Understanding of how SEO and PPC contribute to customer acquisition and ROI.
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on both B2B and B2C campaigns.
- Familiarity with additional platforms like TikTok Ads, Pinterest, or Programmatic tools.
- Exposure to CMS platforms like WordPress, Sitecore, or Optimizely.
- Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, page speed performance, and content optimisation techniques.
- 2 years experience in a similar role
